Adapted from an antique laundry bluing advertisement I added my abstracted realist touch to it and enhanced the colors. I like to blur the details and let the feelings and emotions shine through. This image gives you a warm family feeling as you watch the sisters of a large family go about the laundry day tasks in perfect loving harmony on a sunny porch and teaching the youngest how to be a good housewife someday. Each girl has her part and together they make quick and easy work of cleaning the family clothing.
