This is the classic vision of Oklahoma most people who have never been here get, that it is flat and boring with very few trees... when actually a scene like this is relatively rare in this state of rolling green hills, lakes, rivers and trees. If the truth be told and you could see over the ridge and behind this lonely looking tree there are fields and ponds and wind farms and this tree is not alone at all. I made this digital painting from my own original photograph taken in western Oklahoma along interstate 40.

I am a life long lover of art and nothing makes me happier than when I am creating it. My style is an eclectic mix of colors and emotions that I believe will offer a little something for everyone.
