This is a digital impressionist style painting made from my own original photograph of a peaceful summer sunrise with lots of low hanging clouds left over from a stormy night that was now over. I was looking out to the eastern horizon as the sun was beginning to come up and making a colorful painting of light out of the sky above. I always liked to use the classic windmill as a prop in the sunrise photos I used to take when I lived out on the open plains of central Oklahoma so there it is next to an eastern cedar tree and some fence posts casting cool black silhouettes against the painted sky.

I am a life long lover of art and nothing makes me happier than when I am creating it. My style is an eclectic mix of colors and emotions that I believe will offer a little something for everyone. I like to experiment and invent new techniques creating art with my digital tools and one of my goals is always to make digital mixed media artwork that doesn't look digital.
